The COVID-19 pandemic had upended the live awards show experience, with the trophy fests to play out in a normal fashion, with a live audience and without socially distanced or mask-wearing stars and guests, not to mention largely free of the fear of a deadly, contagious disease hanging over the proceedings. Awards show producers also had to adjust to this new normal, figuring out how to hand out trophies in a way that was safe, made the audience and talent feel comfortable, and still entertained viewers at home. Films and Frames Digital Film Awards has come forward and launch the first ever unique digital film awards. After its success with the 1st edition Films and Frames Digital Film Awards is back with a bang with the second edition this year with Instagram as a partner for first ever Digital Film Awards.

Speaking on the occasion, Neil Roy & Tanmoy Banerjee, Director, Films and Frames Digital Film Awards said, âWe tried to create something different and no doubt the Films and Frames Digital Film Awards is one of a kind. The creative team gave wings to a new digital era by using top-notch technology and created something massive. In light of these ongoing challenges the previous year, we received a fair amount of attention for how we put together a virtual show, with winners beaming in from their homes and a few select presenters on hand, that was far from the only awards show that was forced to adapt to this brave new blend of live and remote elements and fewer, socially-distanced people on site. This is the second edition of Films and Frames Digital Film Awards audience will witness virtually. It took months to design the set, planning every move. More than technology, it was the mind and innovative ideas deployed to create the experience which mattered. And we are more than happy to be back this year for the love that we have received from the people.â
