Ramadan is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Prophet Muhammad. It is a festive time where families socialize and spend a good time together. Ramadan ends with Eid-ul-Fitr, a grand festival and a feast of fast breaking.
Haleem is a classic meat preparation which is particularly relished during this month of fasting. It is not only delicious but also a powerhouse of valuable nutrition.
