Deblina Chakrabarty has launched “Chilekotha”, in the city of joy to gift some indelible loving moments accompanied by some nostalgic and unprecedented culinary excellence. The interior of Chilekotha is designed in a retro Kolkata style to hold back the heritage of the City of Joy. This 50-seater restaurant brings to plate an amalgamation of authentic and progressive Bengali cuisines and fusion food with a hint of “Bangla’r Moshla”, and opens its doors for people from all walks of life. Besides the food, the wooden furniture, kori borga ceilings of the old Kolkata, the window panes, chandeliers and curtains made of khus-khus will give you the nostalgic Bengali experience.
The menu, curated by the well-known Recipe Curator, Sulekha Bhadra, with its catchy name and mouth-watering delicacies will make you go completely head over heels, this summer. The Maach Mango More menu comprises of Aam Sabjir Pakoda, to start with, and moving on to mango infused veg and non-veg dishes like Aam Shottyo Paneer, Aam Mourolar Paturi, Aam Bhetki Goan Curry, Aam Chitol, Pabda Tok Jhaal, Ilish Aam Tel, Roshkoli Murgi, Aam Kasundi Mutton, Aam Angur Chutney, and Macher Dimer Chutney.
A Bangali meal can never be complete without satiating our sweet tooth, and Chilekotha doesn’t lose a point in winning hearts of their patrons with the “Aam” infused desserts like– Aam Jilipi, Aam Kheer and Honey Mango Souffle. The “Maach Mango More” menu is priced between Rs. 70/- to Rs. 400/-.
