The day 14th of November gives a special memory always which represents as a children’s day worldwide. In our childhood we also celebrated this day especially with friends and teachers in school. This day has been organized in honor of Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary as he loves the children by his heart and hence this day is celebrated in India since 1969.
From 1991 this day has been also mentioned as a World Diabetic Day by W.H.O. (World Health Organization) and I.D.F. (International Diabetic Federation). Over 230 IDF members are associated more than 160 countries from different organization, professionals, politician, celebrities and even with the diabetic patients families. This year the theme is Women and Diabetes.
