Festivals in India are awaited all year long and are celebrated with great pomp and show. Let’s be honest, we love all our festivals and celebrate even the less significant ones with enthusiasm. So keeping this in mind, The Drunken Monkey has organized The Hawaiian Festival only to put an end to our Diwali/Bhai Dooj blues and make us all set for the greatest festivals in the world – Christmas and New Year!
The Drunken Monkey, located in the basement of O2 Vip Hotel, Kaikhali, Kolkata undoubtedly presents the folks of the city with the perfect hang out spot for any occasion.
The 84-seater restro-pub in an area of 2000 sq.ft has a very chiq and quirky décor with a very British feel that would not only catch your attention at the first glance but would also make you want to try out the place at least once. With lip-smacking dishes from various cuisines, refreshing beverages and soul-soothing LIITs on offer, The Drunken Monkey also makes sure that the folks get to experience something new and unique on every visit. And, this was what inspired them to start with The Hawaiian Festival, which they also refer as their “Pre-Christmas Celebration”. Plus, it’s winter and who doesn’t love seafood in this cold cozy weather?
The Hawaiian Festival menu comprises everything one would wish or think of. The menu has four refreshing Mocktails – Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri, Hawaiian Colada, Hawaiian Twist, and Fruit Loops, five ‘beachy’ Cocktails – Hawaiian Margarita, Blue Hawaiian, Maitai, Bahama Mama, and Sparkling Cranberry Punch.
They also have some healthy yet scrumptious salads such as Hawaiian Macaroni Salad, Hawaiian Ham Salad, and Chicken Hawaiian Salad. Besides this, the menu also presents us with some Veg and Non-Veg Starters such as Hawaiian Vegetable Stick, BBQ Champignons, Grilled Crabs and last but not the least, Teriyaki Pomfret.
So what are you waiting for? Head to The Drunken Monkey at any time between 11 AM to 11:30 PM and experience the Hawaiian Madness in true sense. The festival will be going on until the 20th of December. The price range for this festival ranges from Rs. 195/- to Rs. 595/-(+taxes).
