The cuisine of Poila Baishak has a rich history and is a blend of various cultural influences. Our buffet includes dishes from the Zamindari, Apar Bangla, Opar Bangla, Thakur Bari and Tangra Chinese food traditions. These cuisines are unique in their own way and offers a diverse range of flavours and aromas.
The buffet begins with refreshing Aam Porar Shorbot and Bel Panna followed by appetizers like Tangra Chilli Paneer, Spiced Potato Green Peas and Cauliflower Croquette, Beguni, Chicken Cutlet and Kucho Chingri aar Macher Chop.
The cold section will have Kumro Bhapa, Piyaj Aloo Posto Bora, Begun Bora, Tomato Porar Chutney, Dhonepata Bata, Khejur Aam Shottor Chutney, Kuchono Salad, Doi Phuchka Chaat, Aloo Kabli, Doi Phuchka with Lonka Kasundi and Piyaj.
The mains will consist of Gobindobhog Ghee Pish Pash, Jorasako Thakur Barir Pulao, Loochi, Khasta Porotha, Cholar Dal, Shukto, Potato Temperado, Chanar paturi, Mocha Dhokar Ghonto, Begun Basanti, China Town Dumpling and Hakka Chow. For the non-veg lovers they will have Machho Poidi, Mymensingh er Mutton Bhuna and Murgh Rezala.
For your sweet tooth they will have Patisapta, Chushi payesh, Rosogolla and Trio Monte Carlo.
During 17th April to 21st April there will be A-la-Carte menu with all the Bengali dishes to choose from.
