While some are working from their home, many are feeling that their skills might get rusted during this period of non-productivity. Many are worried about how to boost immunity and stay healthy as we fight this global outbreak of Covid-19 many are simply worried about how to tackle their children and their education. For some, stress is affecting their mental peace and their skin and hair as well. As we stay locked indoors for days, staying healthy, both mentally and physically is of utmost importance and not to forget, honing our skills during this Quarantine should be our primary concern.
Tericom, however has come up with a wonderful initiative which aims to engage you and help you hone your skills, without stepping outside and endangering human lives. Tericom presents ‘Up Your Game’ Session 1, a series of online video sessions with the experts of the industry to help you enhance your skills and make the most use of your free time.
The session will have some of the eminent names of the city like Shubhika Singh, Counselling Psychologist, Aishwarya Biswas, Auli Lifestyle, Seema Sapru, Principal, The Heritage School, Rita Bhimani, Founder-CEO, Ritam Communications, Satyarup Siddhanta, Celebrated Mountaineer and last but not the least, Mayanka Singhal, Dietician/ Nutritionist.
Rita Bhimani believes, “ The lockdown should be treated a major opportunity to introspect and looked upon as a time to do a personal reinvention and stocktaking.”
In her session, she will be touching on attitudinal recharging and knowledge enhancement. She says, “This should also be treated as valued time gained to look at fresh approaches for corporate, whether it be in internal re-assessments by re-looking at employee engagement or externally, to do a fresh set of image building through CSR orientation.”
Shubhika Singh, on the other hand conducted a session to give the audience easy to implement strategies to make a positive mindset shift. Her session helped in balancing home and work without losing one’s mind. She mentioned,
“Coronavirus/COVID-19 is taking its toll on people’s health, family dynamics &economic situation. Most of us are not prepared for this level of stress, anxiety, and prolonged uncertainty.”
While Shubhika Singh, helped in maintaining our mental health, Dietician Mayanka Singhal, on the other hand talked about the right diet to maintain your physical health. “Home cooked food and traditional dishes are perfect to maintain the right health and boost your immunity”
Aishwarya Biswas, on the other hand, will be sharing some home remedies and age old ingredients with their benefits for a healthy beauty regime, even during lockdown.
The sessions also had Q/A session where the participants enquired about their doubts and discuss their issues and get easy remedies on them.
This was a wonderful initiative by Tericom, to encourage self development and upgrading skills even when the entire nation is under lockdown. When asked, brains behind ‘Up Your Game’, Ritusmita Biswas and Tehnaz Dastoor both agreed to the fact that “Self-Quarantine is also about Self Love and we should not stop, when it comes to developing or honing our skills. If you have free time, now is the time for self-development and introspection and through these video sessions, we urge you all to do so”
